Ballarat Central B & B is conveniently located in Ballarat Central, corner of Dawson Street South and Eyre Street. We are ten minutes walk to Ballarat Base Hospital and St John of God Hospital. We are also only five minutes walk to Ballarat’s city centre, Sturt Street, where you will find cafes, restaurants, theatres and retail shops such as Myer, Target and Coles.
Ballarat Central B & B is a spectacular heritage three-storey building originally built circa 1885. It has been immaculately renovated to retain many original period and heritage features, yet enjoys all the modern conveniences.

We offer quality accommodation at reasonable rates. All rooms are fully furnished with heating, TV’s/DVD players and comfortable beds. We offer a wide variety of furnished rooms which can accommodate singles or couples. We also offer unlimited WIFI to our guests.
Common areas encompass bathrooms, lounge rooms/living areas and kitchens. We also provide a laundry room which is fully equipped with washing machines clothes dryers and ironing facilities.
Our kitchens (one on ground floor and one on second floor) come fully equipped for all your cooking needs with fridges, microwaves, ovens, cooktops, toasters, kettles, sandwich presses, crockery and cutlery. Coffee, sugar, tea and milk are provided free for your enjoyment. Please note that there is not a lift in the building, with stairs to the first and second floors.
Ballarat Central B & B provides daily cleaning to all common areas. Rooms are cleaned on changeover, or every third day or when required for longer staying guests. Bed linen is changed weekly, (or earlier if required), and towels every third day. We offer limited free pushbike use and limited off street parking. We offer card and board games and free book exchange for your entertainment.
